# Customer Story:  Turning a Lock of Hair Into a Diamond

I first learned that hair could be turned into a diamond from a video on Instagram.

My first reaction was honestly just: wow, is this actually real?

It felt almost too special to believe. Then I started thinking about Miso. I had kept some of Miso’s fur, and after watching that video, I wondered if it could also become a diamond.

At first, I didn’t place an order right away. I searched a lot. I wanted to know if this technology was real, how the process worked, and whether other people had actually done it before. After reading more and realizing that memorial diamonds were already a real and mature process, I started comparing different companies.

Even then, I still had a lot of questions in my mind.

Would the diamond really be made from the fur I sent?
